As with early-teen school drop-outs, young married women are faced with the dilemma of only being able to do that what it is they have to do on a daily basis – farming and housekeeping. Some of them had higher aspirations, most of them will tell you that they would have liked to have learnt how to read and write, add and subtract. Some have gifted talents hidden beneath, but haven’t been given the opportunity to further their talents into something as simple as setting up a small business. Others’ wish only to be able to help their own children with their homework. Our Community Centre will be designed and built to facilitate community members willing to further their reach in life through Vocational Training such as tailoring, carpentry and handicrafts.
