In late 2017, with the new school year of April 2018 in mind we undertook the double task of deconstructing our initial school building and constructing a 2 roomed truss and stone wall building. This new building incorporated Class 1, the first year of Primary and a hall.

It was sad to see the initial building coming down piece by piece but it was a necessary step. Some of the materials were gifted to villagers rebuilding their own homes, and once this truss building was complete, work began on the reconstruction of the initial building on the old foundation.

Instead of a 2 ½ storey building, a 1 ½ storey building was constructed in its place, completed in June 2017. This building now houses Class SKG, Class 2 and a computer room.
